About Me
![iu_1203433_22188107.webp]()
I'm an artist from New Jersey who believes in Free Will, Creativity, and Telling Stories. I'm currently working on my own IP, so I often spend my days either writing or drawing digital artwork. Outside of the grind I enjoy listening to Hip-Hop, emulating old console games and playing indies. I also love watching Film, Anime, and Television Shows. Online I go by the pseudonym 'PsychoMeatFish', but you can call me Tam. I aim to contribute to the existing art community here on Newgrounds and make some cool friends. So if you end up liking this post, let me know!
My Art
There's nothing I love to do more than design characters, especially weird ones. I've grown up rejecting the normal and embracing the strange and unusual; you'll rarely ever see a ordinary-looking person coming from me. A large chunk of this affinity sprouted from my early childhood; Where I'd spend hours watching obscure cartoons, playing flash games, and drawing, of course. My obsession? MUTANTS! I've been in love with them for as long as I can remember, and the catalogue of aberrated individuals only keeps growing. If you need an explanation, my favorite TV Show as a preteen was TMNT 2012. Other big players in my childhood have been Slugterra, Pokemon, 9th Grade Ninja, and plenty of bootleg DVD films!

My Art Style
I'm always developing as an artist, having only been drawing seriously for almost two years now. In that period I've learned a lot about myself and my work. I tend to draw stylized characters; big on colour and outline (sometimes I also work without colour!); you'll never see me draw anything semi-realistic. Big fan of the Y2K era and that vibe, so I definitely try to implement that into my work when I can. I also sometimes just do whatever I come up with!
Other Things I Make

Definitely not a Pokemon
When I'm not busting my balls working on my personal projects; I tend to let myself experiment with different art ideas every once in a while. Sunday is my "Creative Vacation", where I may make fan-art, do art prompts, or work on a little idea I had prior. I've developed a habit of churning out new ideas during this time, and it's left me with a lot of cool concepts; sometimes I make art for little IPs or game ideas; it's a great way to branch out, and it keeps me from getting burned out.

Mismamon
Sometimes good things happen that you don't expect

MISMAMON (Misfit, Masquerader, Monster) was originally an idea for a digital board game which I invented for fun; it describes the struggle of traumatized children as they engage in conflict with their maladaptive parents in a whimsical world. Unfortunately, I had other things to worry about at the time and eventually gave up on the idea, but my close friend Mechode was in love with it; and eventually decided to turn it into a comic series, which I now volunteer to review. Check it out!
Seeing something I made inspire someone else is the most wonderful feeling on planet earth; who knew someone would care so much about my idea? That's what art is about. I'm proud to have been a part of Mismamon!

Conclusion
Woah, looks like I ended up writing this thing like an essay. If you've read this far, thank you, and I hope you enjoyed seeing my work; there's lots more to come. If you have anything you want to say, anything at all, go make a comment! For social media, I only use Mastodon. I will continue to post more blogs about stuff here, as well as artwork, maybe even project updates at some point. Anyways, thanks again.
